Before the big day, we had the honor of capturing their engagement session in the misty mountains of Heredia. Surrounded by lush cloud forest, soft golden light, and the quiet magic of the Costa Rican highlands, it was the perfect way to begin this love story. Heredia is one of the most beautiful and underrated locations in Costa Rica for engagement portraits — and this couple made the most of every moment.

One of our favorite moments of the day was when the bride received heirloom pearls gifted by her mother-in-law — a gesture so full of warmth and welcome that it brought tears to everyone present. The ceremony was intimate, emotional, and beautifully set against the lush Costa Rican countryside.
